We want to invite all the men of Crossway to our Men’s Retreat as we talk about the grand issue of pride.

Pride is a very real struggle in men. We might not feel it on a day to day basis, but in reality, we are waged in an epic war to take ourselves out of the center of our lives, and to place Jesus at the throne of our hearts. Anytime we receive a compliment, or we achieve some sort of success, there is pride lurking to pat ourselves on the back for our own brilliance and wisdom and strength. when we we aren’t given the recognition we deserve, there is pride again in the shadows urging us on to go and get what we’re entitled to.
