Summer is looking for any opportunity to arrive. Wherever you may travel this season, we want to invite you to go on an adventure with us at Walk this Way VBS.
This year we are following the Apostle Paul on the ULTIMATE road trip. We'll travel the globe with him, meet Christ and see how his life changed! It's a "wanderlust" vbs for those who need to scratch that travel bug this summer!
It is a three-day event that brings together everyone, so whether you can volunteer or sign up your family -- we hope to see you there. If you need further convincing that Walk this Way Vbs is a must, here are four more reasons to sign up today.
Connect with Others
We know it's important to worship in community. We are made to do life together. This is essential for God’s children of ALL ages. Walk this Way Vbs gives you an opportunity to serve little ones, connect your family with their peers, and travel in this faith journey with others while reaching the next generation.
Everyone Can Participate
The cost of the Walk this Way VBS makes it affordable to bring your entire family. Parents can have three free evenings while the kids get excited about Jesus. Don’t know what to do? Have no children? Adults can volunteer! It is less of a time commitment than that of a regular Crosswalk volunteer role, making it convenient for those curious to see what happens at our kids’ ministry. We welcome teens to volunteer too!
Make a Difference with Time
Time together creates a shared experience. We travel, share meals together, talk over faith questions, and laugh a whole bunch, all of which create memories. Those are the experiences that bring together our church family and deepen our relationships. If you are serving or attending, Vbs gives you an opportunity to make a difference.
Not Only for Kids
I’ve been involved with Crosswalk for over eight years, and going to an event like Walk this Way brings out the wide-eyed, wonder seeking child in you. At every Vbs, I have an opportunity to laugh, get goofy, feel free to worship (even dance), hear truth from the Bible and remember that God loves us as we are, any age, any size. These Bible lessons are packed with truth and sometimes when it’s explained again for a child, we can see it in a way that makes sense.
I hope to see you or your family and VBS this year, at Brea or Irvine.
