A Church for All People

Crossway Community Church was planted Sept. 23, 2007 with a core of 50 adventurous souls. It was after much discussion and prayer that the leadership at Sarang Church decided to take a step of faith and follow the Spirit’s prompting to extend God’s Kingdom by planting an English-speaking/ multi-cultural church in Orange County. God has used Sarang Church to commission and support the planting of Crossway as an autonomous/independent church.

Crossway was planted intentionally in OC with the hopes of bringing together the most affluent and educated Christians on the planet to make a global impact. Our greatest desire is to gather, train and produce Kingdom- minded Christians. Think of this, we speak English, we have money, we are educated- God gave us all these privileges not to make our own lives comfortable, but to help others know the gospel.

Our motto at Crossway is to be “a church for all people.” There is a two-fold mission in that one statement. First, as a church for all people, we dream of Crossway being a place where anyone can come to worship God and be treated equally in Christ. Our aim is to accept and love all people regardless of life-stage, ethnicity, gender, or socio-economic background. Secondly, we dream of being a church with a mission for all people groups. Our goal is to share the gospel locally, regionally and globally. We want to share the good news of what God has done on the cross to as many as possible. It was the prophet Habakkuk who prayed:

"LORD, I have heard of your fame; I stand in awe of your deeds, O LORD. Renew them in our day, in our time make them known”
